Encompass delivers two Love Nature UHD channels in the cloud for media production business Blue Ant Media
LONDON (31 January 2024) – Encompass Digital Media, a global managed service provider for TV networks, broadcasters, sports leagues and OTT platforms, has announced a three-year agreement with Blue Ant Media. Encompass provides Blue Ant Media with Ultra High Definition (UHD) channel playout, service management, cloud archive and distribution for its Love Nature channels in EMEA and Asia.
Encompass offers 24/7 channel origination of the Love Nature UHD channels from its Altitude Media Cloud platform. The UHD channels, together with HD variants, originate from diverse cloud regions, with service management provided by Encompass’ Riga playout centre in Latvia. The channels are widely available across Europe and Asia via Blue Ant Media’s affiliate platforms. Encompass and Blue Ant Media partnered to deliver an automated UHD media workflow, supported by Encompass’ Altitude Archive storage.
The Love Nature channels bring viewers closer to nature with exclusive and awe-inspiring stories from around the world, fostering a deeper understanding and connection to this planet we call home. The channels are available worldwide in multiple languages.
